YOUR WORKSPACE TOOLS

Choose the right place for the next task.

A project often starts with a document and grows into files, numbers, decisions and customer conversations. Open the tool that fits the task, then use its sharing and export options to make the result useful to the next person.

01

Create and review your work

Write a project brief in Docs, organize calculations in Sheets and turn the findings into a Slides presentation. Use templates to get started, review the result and export in a format your audience can use.

02

Organize files and visual thinking

Keep project materials in Drive, preview supported file types and manage revisions. Use Board to arrange ideas, map a process or develop a plan on a visual canvas.

03

Make room for the conversation

Use Chat for ongoing discussions, Meet for a live conversation and Calendar for schedules and booking pages. Choose the format that lets people prepare, participate and find the decision afterwards.

04

Follow through on customer work

Use CRM to organize customer records, Social to plan publishing work and SEO to inspect a website and review available search data. Each product has its own workflow and connection requirements.

START WITH SOMETHING USEFUL

Two ways to put your workspace to work.

EXAMPLE · PROJECT KICKOFF

Move from a meeting to a usable project brief.

For a small team starting a project, the useful outcome is a brief that captures the goal, the open questions and the next steps. Give each part of that preparation a clear home.

  1. 1

    Prepare the discussion

Start a Docs brief with the goal and questions you need to answer. Gather reference files in Drive, and arrange a rough process or a set of ideas on Board before the meeting.

Write a project brief in Docs
  2. 2

    Meet with the right context

Schedule the conversation in Calendar or share a Meet invitation link. Discuss the options together and record the decisions in your brief so they remain available after the call.

    Explore video meetings
  3. 3

    Review and hand off

Invite existing AppStruct users to review a connected document with the appropriate permissions. Work through comments and suggestions, then publish a reading snapshot or export the brief for your audience.

EXAMPLE · CLIENT UPDATE

Turn working numbers into a clear client update.

When a team needs to explain progress, the spreadsheet and the presentation serve different purposes. Keep the analysis detailed and make the presentation focus on the decisions a reader needs to make.

  1. 1

    Organize and check the numbers

Bring a table into Sheets, check the relevant rows and formulas, and create a chart when it makes a comparison easier to understand. Verify the totals and the period before presenting a conclusion.

    Work with data in Sheets
  2. 2

Build the story around the result

Create a Slides deck with the main finding, the supporting figures and the next action. Add the text and visuals you need, then use presenter tools to rehearse the flow before sharing it.

    Create a presentation in Slides
  3. 3

    Choose the handoff format

Use the export options in the editor to prepare files for your client. Keep the supporting materials organized in Drive, and use CRM when customer records and follow-up work belong in a dedicated workflow.

A THOUGHTFUL HANDOFF

Make sharing part of the workflow.

Review current plans

Give people the right access

A working file and a published reading link serve different purposes. Check which sharing options the product offers, who can edit and whether later changes require republishing.

Check the save and sync status

Some tools can keep work in this browser and sync when an account connection is available. Check the status in the editor before relying on another device, and export an important handoff when you need a separate copy.

Connect services when the task needs them

Meetings, calendar integrations, social publishing and search reports depend on their supported services and account permissions. Open the relevant product page to see the workflow before planning a wider team rollout.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Questions about your team workspace.

Which tools are included in the AppStruct workspace?

The workspace brings together Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Board, Meet, Calendar, Chat, CRM, Social and SEO. Their product pages explain the available editing, sharing, export and connection options. You can also use the App Builder to develop a separate application.

Can I use my existing documents and spreadsheets?

Docs, Sheets and Slides provide import tools for supported formats. Review a sample of your actual files before moving a larger project: complex formatting, formulas or embedded elements can require adjustments. The product pages describe the supported import and export workflows.

Can I share a document with someone outside my team?

Connected Docs lets you share with existing AppStruct accounts as viewers, commenters or editors. A published document snapshot provides a reading link that does not require an account. Choose the option that matches whether the person needs to review, edit or simply read the result.

How should a small team get started?

Pick one recurring workflow, such as preparing a project brief or a client update. Try it with the files and people involved, check saving and access, and agree on the handoff format. Expand to other tools after the first workflow is useful to the team.
